thoughts for a new project   . . . . 

an object passed from one person to the next without them actually meeting

the instructions about where to find the object is passed from one avatar to the next in second life

i have had to work on another project this week to make some £'s

so the booths will not be back in operation until 1st march

however i did make a quick booth with some images from my half

term holiday in spain , a sand castle i made 

touring quietly as a mobile gallery in SL

lightfold: there is nothing new on the board, i have seen it all on any joke page on the web--so really how do you define downloading someone elses creaions as art?

i replied to someone who plainly wasn't talking to me

 but it got his attention !!!

Canterel Caerndow: So the question is, how do you impart a personal touch, and genuine realness to your avatar

Canterel Caerndow: I will make an art exhibit, it will consist of avatar which are cut open by axes

here is a preview of the new " intimate relationships " booth

it is still being 'tweaked' but has been on several visits to 

some public areas in Second Life already.

 i will update on monday.

day five back to the Russian Sim

   a brave return to the Russian sim, different 

avatars were present, they were mildly amused

talking on voice and said " this is american humour 

i think." Note that is another noob on the left.

on the right is an example of one of the avatars that are available when you first sign up for secondlife, the robobox on the left is a default avatar you can choose also, it is found in the library in the inventory that all residents have. 

 

noob

a little about a noob in SL

Noob is a slang term for a new person in a community, group, or video game, and especially on the internet (see internet slang). Noob is short for "newbie", another slang term that comes from the word "new". A noob usually means a bad player in a game, or someone who does not know the rules of a community. Being a noob is usually not a good thing.

I refered to the Noob in waterhead as a "noob" because i dont think he was new at all just took great pleasure in wearing "newbie" clothing  ( one of the few outfits u can select when u start SL so you are not a naked avatar) and purposely bumping into other avatars and irritating them. When i have the booth attached to me this can be particularly irritating if done consistently ans basically it is like knocking the booth down and i have to reset my sitting animation. 

i hope this makes things a little clearer. i will post an image tomorrow

i was in waterhead but was rudely and purposely bumped into by a av that looked like a "noob"above in shirt with blue stripes, so i could not stay long . . . i had to muted him , he is the grey shape below (muted)

but there was a short dialogue about the booth before i left

 i was very tempted to leave early on because I have a phobia

 about very long hair ! but I decided to stick it out a little longer.
